Every day, I talk with
readers and clients who are going through
very difficult times:
-loved ones dying or
dead
-severe injuries and
terminal illnesses
-divorce or
relationship break-ups
-financial loss and
hardships
-broken dreams and
major disappointments
-problems with
co-workers, family and friends
-job stress or no job
at all
You know the list. I
call it "Earth-Walk 101."
Fortunately, it's all
totally safe and lawful. We may look like
helpless humans in a cruel, chaotic world
who suffer and die. In truth, we are wise,
powerful spiritual beings who can't be
permanently hurt and who do not die.
Much evidence shows
that we, as souls, chose to visit this
beautiful but challenging planet because
it's such a fertile
environment for
Service, Adventure, Growth and Enjoyment.
SAGE training.
There's an old saying
about wisdom coming from the mouth of
babes. This is certainly true about "Peri-natal
Experiences"
since they occur
before, during, or just after birth.
Here's an example.
While getting a bath, a
four year old child begins to talk to his
mother: "I remember when I was in your tummy
. . ."
He tells her specific details about events
that happened when she was pregnant with
him. Later, he also correctly reports what
happened just before and after his birth:
which family members were there, medical
instruments and tests, and even what people
were wearing.
The mother is
incredulous; she is sure that no one has
ever told him these details. How could he
know what happened when he was in her womb
and just a newborn?
Research on awareness
during the peri-natal period suggests that a
wise and objective consciousness resides
within the newborn baby. The peri-natal
experience is particularly fascinating
because it points to a preexistence of
awareness, consciousness that predates
birth.
In "Mindsight", Ken
Ring, Ph.D. and Sharon Cooper, Ph.D. review
peri-natal research and note an emerging
picture of a dual nature of human
consciousness. First, there is a
brain-based consciousness that develops as
the fetus and baby grows. In addition,
however, a great deal of empirical
evidence points to a
transcendent source of consciousness (TSC)
that "predates physical life and survives
bodily death."
The TSC is most
apparent during NDEs, mystical states of
consciousness, and peri-natal experiences,
but is usually
overshadowed by the
brain based consciousness so predominant in
our hectic physical world.
To date, PNE research
primarily involves gathering information
using hypnosis to aid memory recall from the
peri-natal period.
Interviewing children
who spontaneously recall these events is
another source of data.
PNEs, along with the
other eight categories of evidence, provide
compelling proof that you can endure the
trials and tribulations
of life--no matter what
they are. In the process, you just might
find yourself becoming more wise, peaceful,
loving, joyful and on purpose. Sage
training, remember?
That's why we're here;
tough times are great teachers. Remember
that there's a rhyme and a reason for
everything in life,
even difficulties,
tragedies and death.

Proof" by Dr. Mark Pitstick)
