Soul Proof

If you discover a mess that has already happened, put the rottweiler puppy in another area and clean up the spot. Please do not shout at your dog in any other way. If he goes in the house, you fell down on the job.

As you own him, it is completely your duty to be watchful enough that he is not doing anything wrong. So as to be happy your new Rottweiler must feel protected about his place in the group.

When the time comes that you have observed no accidents in the house for regular 14 days and when you can tell that your rottweiler dog is understanding what "Go potty" means, you may begin increasing his "free time" out of the crate. If there is an accident, you may have gone too quick. Keep in mind that this is a baby you are coping with; he cannot grow quicker than his maturity level will allow him.

The procedure for older rottweiler dogs is very much identical. Keep in mind - even dogs who are supposedly perfectly housebroken may have a number of "accidents" as they get accustomed to their new environment.

Frequently, rottweilers have a tendency to show their existence to their opponents by such accidents.

Even an adult dog must be permitted to depart the crate within a period of three hours. It is advised to take your dog out to eliminate when they awake. Most dogs (like people!) will urinate within several seconds of waking up. Many will have a bowel movement within minutes of waking up.

Permit the older dog an hour or so to roam in the house. Then out again at lunch and another hour or so of free time. Back in the crate. Out again around dinner time which is usually when the dog will both micturate and defecate again.

By doing so, he can savor your company or can kick about with you until you go to bed. Remember to bring him out to his potty spot before he enters the crate to sleep. Otherwise, apply the same techniques and schedule using the same area, the same potty expression, the same cookies, etc.

Appropriately and constantly applying this procedure of training I have had no failures - and neither will you. Almost all dog has been dependable within three weeks of beginning his training. When your dog performs the "right" thing, remember to stay on your timetable & use plenty of admirations and prizes (cookies).

And, if your dog fails to remember, remember that you don't allow him observe you tidy it up after him. If you do not notice ANY consequences after 4 - 5 weeks, you may want to take the advice and assistance of a certified dog trainer.
